A History of Commercial Motors (Wales) Ltd
The Directors of Commercial Motors (Wales) Ltd Roger and Gill Sheddick and Robert and Mary Manchip commenced operation in February when the company purchased an existing MAN dealership. The business consisted of a MAN service and parts facility and an MG Rover Parts operation.
The business acquired the Isuzu Truck Main Dealer franchise for sales, service and parts covering the South East Wales territory.
The company moved to a new purpose built facility adjacent to the Newport distributor road network with excellent access via the outer ring road. The much larger premises now accommodates all types of vehicles including trucks, trailers, coaches, vans and other vehicles.
The new premises has an ATF lane which operates daily and also offers all other types of MOT testing.
The business has continued to grow since its inception and has dedicated sales, parts and service departments supported by a team of highly skilled technicians.
Our product offer was further strengthened with the addition of the LDV Van franchise for sales, service and parts.
